Simple Examples of Double Chin Exercises
Simple exercises can help to get rid of a double chin and tone the facial muscles. Here are some examples of double chin exercises you can do daily, or even twice a day if you can. If you establish a routine and do them at the same time every day, for example first thing in the morning, it is easier to remember to do them regularly.
Before starting, stretch your neck a little. Lie down on your side on the bed or the sofa, with your head on a cushion, and tilt the head backwards slowly and gently so that you can feel a stretch in the neck. Don’t overstretch.
Exercise 1: Use the back of your hand to slap repeatedly under the skin. It sounds funny, but this is one of the most common movements for preventing and getting rid of fat under the chin. Keep slapping gently for a few minutes.
Exercise 2: Just like you stretched the neck muscles when lying down, tilt your head slowly back but stand up this time. Make sure you do not strain or overstretch, and keep the head back while counting to ten. Then very slowly bring the head back to the normal position. Never do any sudden movements or you might injure the neck area.
Exercise 3: Bring the lower lip over the top lip and keep it there for a few seconds. Relax for a moment and try again. You can perform this routine up to ten times.
Exercise 4: Open your mouth, stick your tongue out, and keep it there for around ten seconds. Relax for a few moments, and repeat again. You can do this simple movement several times and if you feel comfortable with it, repeat it up to ten times in one exercising session.
Do all four exercising routines in one session at least once a day.
