Gogos Crazy Bones Games

Gogos are cute.  Each of the four series contains 80 different shapes, with each shape coming in five different shiny colors; red, blue, yellow, purple and green.  To make sure you have genuine Gogo Crazy Bones, check the back where you will find its number.  Be sure to look up each of your Gogos’ special abilities.

When you first pick up your Gogo’s Crazy Bones, you will find that it is easy to hold it in one finger and, using that one finger, flip it.  The special abilities of your Gogos will help them to play the many games that have been invented especially for them.  All Gogos bounce well, some Gogos go faster than others do and some are more likely to land right side up than others are.  You will have to experiment with each of your Bones to find out how it works.

The very, very first toys like Crazy Bones were actually sheep bones that were played with in ancient Greece.  The new incarnation of this old toy comes in many different shapes and colours but five are very rare and hard to find and treasured when they are found.  These are multi-colored Gogos.

Perhaps the first Gogos Crazy Bones game that you will want to play will have each player throwing his/her Gogos up in the air and watching them land.  Each Gogo that lands on its feet counts for three points.  If a Gogo lands on its side, it counts for two points.  Those landing on their back count for one point and any landing on their face count for zero points.  After everyone has finished throwing his or her Gogos, you count the points and the person with the most wins.

To play Knockout with your Bones, each person playing must place the same number of Gogos inside a circle.  Each person should stand about 7 feet away from the circle and take a turn throwing one of his/her Gogos, trying to knock other people’s out of the circle.  If a Gogo is nudged but does not get knocked completely out of the circle, it must be returned to the circle.  At the end of the agreed upon number of throws, the person with the most of his/her Gogos still in the circle is the winner.

Gogos Crazy Bones bowling has each player putting the same number of Gogos on the floor about four inches from the wall.  Each person will take a turn throwing another Gogo at the ones that are already on the floor.  The object of the game is to knock down as many of your opponents’ playing pieces as possible.  If you should knock down your own Gogos, do not worry.  It does not count against you – just stand them up again.

Pick a line that is already on the floor or draw one wherever an adult says you are allowed if you want to play Gogos online.  Take turns throwing your Gogos at the line.  The character that lands closest to the line wins that turn.  When you have finished as many turns as you decide that you want to play, the person who has won the most turns wins.

Gogos Crazy Bones can be carried in bags or stored in boxes.  They come with stickers and sticker albums that you can put them in. They are hugely popular amongst primary school age children and the craze looks set to continue.
